The awards are presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year, as well as those driving the international IP market.
- I am grateful for this award, but first and foremost it is very nice to see the fantastic IP-team at Thommessen getting recognition, says partner Camilla Vislie, who has been leading Thommessens Intellectual Property and Marketing Law department since 2014.
- It's about the width of what we do at Thommessen. We have the expertise to solve a broad range of advisory and transactional challenges, as well as complex litigation. That's our selling point, she says.
Insight into various industries
Camillas role is to take the lead in these projects, as well as to focus on the client's objectives and then translate that into practical problem-solving.
- It is exciting to work with IP because you gain insight into many different industries and areas, ranging from the music industry to pharmaceutical companies, she continues.
She says it's important to continuosly work to ensure that Thommessen stays at the forefront professionally, as well as to keep up with what's happening and what comes next.
- We aim to contribute to the professional development and progress within our areas. It is something we spend a lot of time on, Camilla concludes.
