  • Eivind J. Vesterkjær, Partner Advokat

    Eivind advises clients on competition law (including merger control), public procurement, state aid, regulatory issues, FDI, and general business law. He has broad experience from a variety of sectors and industries, including technology & telecom, financial services, shipping, energy, life sciences, and consumer retail. Eivind has for a number of years been ranked among Norway's leading lawyers within competition law and public procurement.   • Hedvig Moe, Partner Advokat

    Hedvig began her legal career at Thommessen in 2000 and returned to the firm in May 2023. In the intervening years, she held key positions at the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime, where she primarily focused on financial crime and held the position as acting director. Hedvig has also held leadership roles in the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST), including Deputy Director, where she developed knowledge on topics such as geopolitics, national security, and foreign intelligence. This has also provided her with valuable experience in collaborating with the defense sector. Through these and several other public sector positions, she has gained a deep understanding of central and local administration, political processes, and legislative work. At Thommessen, she leads the firm's National Security Advisory, where she provides legal and strategic advice across all areas relevant to national security. This includes the Security Act, personnel security, foreign direct investment (FDI), and defense procurements. Hedvig is also responsible for the firm's advisory on compliance, export control, and sanctions legislation. Hedvig has substantial experience with crisis planning and management, as well as public and media relations.
